KR-9050 switches issue

Bought a nice 9050 from a fellow AKer, this unit had problems with the push switches in the tuner section. They won't stay depressed and all 5 have the same issue. I was wondering if anyone know of a replacement.

Not yet. They are stuck and won't latch.

Since you have that out, I'd soak it in an alcohol bath. Distilled water would work too supposing the switches took a soda bath.

Chances are it might be dried lube from the factory making them stick, and this is where the alcohol will help.

Leave it in for a while and occassionally work the switches.

Once you can work the switches, pull it out and let it dry. Then I'd suggest a spray down with DeOxit.

Post some pictures of the beast. I have been trying to get one for a loooooong time......
