Yamaha M class amplifier binding post upgrades?

On a thread from 2010, an AK member mentioned that they had found an eBayer that was selling pins to insert into the clunky binding posts on Yamaha amps to allow for banana cable to be inserted. I can't find these anywhere online, does anyone know where I could find these or have someone make some?? I really want some.

Here is the original thread:

When i was swapping stuff around quite a bit i just made some short adapter cables. Bare wire on one end for the binding posts, banana jacks on the other end.

M-50 connectors

I have been toying with the idea of soldering the bare wires for use in my M-50. The thing I don't like is the lack of feel when tightening the knobs. I use a heavier stranded wire but still don't feel as I'm tightening anything.
If the stranded & soldered wire could offer some clamping resistance I think it would help.

Comments?

Just solder the very end (3-4mm) of the freshly stripped and twisted copper and then trim off square. You'll get the flexibility, the contact 'feel' and the longevity due to the strands not un-twisting and breaking off.

The copper to terminal resistance is also lower that way.

There's a whole lot of BS when it comes to 4mm banana posts being superior- they mostly just look pretty and allow 'serious' looking thick cables. The best terminals are pressure screwed to fresh stripped copper.

I have found a way to adapt the M class speaker post to banana plugs using a inexpensive binding post from Parts Express.
