CR-600 not playing after changing lamps.

Best Day Ever
Hi all.
After replacing the 4 lamps for the front panel display, I have no output.
The unit powers up and the lights work, which at the moment is only a small consolation.
I didn't mess around with anything else while inside.

Anyone come across this before?
Any ideas?

thanks
Martin

Some of these small recievers will not pull in the protect relay contacts with the wrong lamps installed. They need to be 12v at 60ma.

Thanks Avionic.
A gentleman on ebay sells replacement kits for all the CR series.
Goes by the name "rrrjjlamb".
Since my original post, I unsoldered a lead from each bulb and still no change.

Is the protect relay the "click" you hear after about 5 sec after powering on.
If so...it's functioning still.

Is there a decoupling switch on the rear panel? If so,make sure its in the coupled position..

Avionic,
Everything was cleaned and deoxited to make sure it was worth getting the bulbs.
I have a Kenwood basic c2 pre & a pair of Eico HF-22's, and a Yamaha C-50 & M-50.

The CR-600 is my brothers.

I think I see where you're going.
Try to diagnose if it's in the pre amp or amp section?

Would DC offset tell me anything?
Both channels ranging from approx 10mv to 36mv. After 10 min +, not settling down at all.

Well...the amp section seems to be good.
Music with kenwood basic 2c into cr-600.
