2012 Lone Star Audio Fest - great show

Got back today from the LSAF. Had a great time, learned a lot from some very smart people, heard some fantastic systems and met some really nice knowledgeable folks.

It would be hard to pick out anything in particular because there was so much great stuff. There were systems ranging from the very high end all the way down to the DIY. I was particularly impressed with some of the open baffle designs, especially some from a fellow named John Busch from Manzanita Audio Solutions. His "Manzanita Big Boy Coaxials" sounded fantastic to my ears.

Wayne Parham brought a pair of his 4 pi speakers, which sounded wonderfully accurate playing some Adel. The Oddwatt folks were there with some really nice tube amp kits, the Podwatt, OddBlocks and Forewatt preamp. There were tons more to see, I wish I could mention it all but you should probably check out the details on the Audio Round Table site.

All in all, it was a great time.
