1 x K2002A a small but sweet little integrated that I have a lot of affection for. Nice and bright fills a small to middle sized room without too much effort.

My daughter currently has it to power her IPod with a pair of Paradigm Atoms.

The only Kenwood I have owned.

Back when I was living in Europe I bought a Sony TA-F530ES integrated amplifier around 1989, but I remember tossing up between that and a Denon PMA320 if I recall correctly and there was a Kenwood in the mix as well, the model I can no longer recall.

It sounded pretty good but I had a prejudice against the name because I associated it with Kitchen Appliances. I hope all the Kenny fans can forgive me, I still wake up in a sweat when I think about it. There was a lot of nice looking stuff around that period and the German Hi-fi mags were always comparing the Sony ES stuff with Marantz, Denon, Kenwood and Sherwood, it seemed like a blossoming or reasonable gear at that time all built like tanks. Proton was getting a good rep as well.

Ahhh Happy Days.

My only Trio-Kenwood component I ever owned was the old KA 9100 integrated amplifier. Very nicely made and nice to listen to. Never had a Kenny receiver but the older ones would be nice if one came my way!

I currently own:

1 pair KL-888D speakers

Have owned:

1 pair KL-222 speakers
1 pair KL-777D speakers

KT-8300 Tuner

Started with a KA-7001, still have it after 40 years, also have a KA-7100, and a KT-7500. As for listening to music - it all has come through a Kenwood of some type.

Still own:

Kenwood Basic C2
Kenwood Basic M1
Kenwood Basic M2A
Kenwood Basic M2
Kenwood KA 9800

KA-9100

Own:
KA-7100

Heard:
L-09M

And, right now I'm borrowing the L-07M's from the fellow I sold them to. Sound pretty sweet with my IMF's.
