MCS 3275 Volume pot question

Has anyone opened up a potentiometer like this before? It's a little scratchy and cuts out. I'm wondering if this is opened up easily by taking the screws out or if I'm just looking for trouble if I try to take it apart?

For anyone who's interested. I went ahead and took the screws out. You can see in the pics that the back cover comes off and reveals the back pot. But the whole thing is held together with the press on type rings that don't come off easy, i didn't even attempt to take it off. I was able to get to the front pot though by very gently prying open the section that's it's enclosed in and get both clean and now it functions perfectly.

Anybody have the vol pot schemstivwiring diagram to which wires get attached to the vol attenuator and so on ? Have a new vol knob already soldered on but, njthat's been poorly attached with speaker wire and the mono and balance isn't as it should be
