I have the NAD 1300 pre-amp with an Adcom power amp and a M&K v1250 THX
subwoofer. The M&K has only line inputs, not speaker level. I currently have them hooked up from the preamp with a Y adaptor. Works OK I guess.

The preamp has two outputs, one NORMAL and the other labeled HIGH. According to the manual, the HIGH output is 13db higher than the NORMAL
The insruction sheet indicates that the pre-amp has low output impedance and can drive several amplifiers connected in parallel.
. The comentary says HIGH may be used to drive pro studio equipment, driving low impedances as low as 600 ohms and deliver up to 15 volts (+26 dBm) to a high impedance load. The instruction sheet also indicates the HIGH is wired in parallel to the front panel PHONES so that plugging in low impedance headphones would reduce the signal level and available headroom at the HIGH level output.

My question is whether I can drive my power amp with one output and the subwoofer with the other?
