Can someone identify this woofer?

I bought some RS 5b's over the summer not realizing they had mismatched 10 inch woofers.

I've since sourced the correct woofer and was just wondering if anyone new what model Infinity the smaller woofer came from.

Any numbers stamped on them anywhere? Look at the back of the cone, anywhere on the basket, and the magnet.

Heres a thread only those. The smaller is an Infinity replacement. I cannot hear a difference but i guess the larger sexier coned one with the larger magnet to be more desirable. The other difference is just different paint for the different model speakers.

Slim, the smaller one is a 902279A, but the larger one is a 9025107. I could certainly hear a difference.

While watching them play the larger one also has much more cone movement.

Based on that alone, they would have different T/S parameters and not likely to be interchangeable.

Correction...the larger (correct) woofer is a 902-5107, and Infinity shows the substitute for the RS 5b being a 902-4179.

I was just curious as to what model Infinity used the 902-2279. It's just sitting here with fresh foam and could use a new home if someone needed it.

OK, I found the PDF for the RS II's, and Slim was right, it's a replacement for that speaker.
