Yamaha NS 1000M

In a word, yes. The 12 dB per octave X'over means the the tweets need to be out of phase to sound as they should relative to the other drivers. :thmbsp:

Not what I wanted to hear, but thanks. Time to get out the soldering iron :D

Hahahahahahaha! You mutht be a thailer. POWER BOATER HERE! Great speakers! I agree the dome was probably exposed to some element and patina'd reddish like a raddish.

LOL, Your way off course, Raced in the Key West worlds, APBA member since 1996 and OSO member since 2000 :thmbsp:

I swapped the leads around so the tweeters are out of phase, the way it is supposed to be, and made new foam gaskets because the old ones were toast. These speakers really do sound incredible. :D

I know this is probably not the right place to ask, but I have a question.
I have a perfect looking and working pair of NS-1000's with new matching stands.
The speakers and grills look perfect, stands are new.

What would be a reasonable price to ask for when selling locally?
