Question about RS 425 woofers...re-foam help for a newbie

I have a set of Infinity RS425 speakers. Both woofers need to be re-foamed.

My question is this...it seems from the factory the foam was attached to the backside of cone. The re-foam kit I purchased seem to require me to glue around the top edge of the frontside of the cone. Is this normal? I will post some pics of my progress so far when I get a chance.

make sure you have the right foams...some may be "one size fits all" which may not work as well..
