Thinking of buying a Pioneer PL 560

A guy I know has a Pioneer PL 560 in pretty nice condition. The feet are there, and in good shape as well. He's asking $225. Should I bite?

I take it you're talking about the silver PL 560. If so, $225.00 is a fair price if the condition is nice. It's a good tt. If you're buying it to flip it, you could maybe make $50.00-$75.00.

That's pretty much Ebay price. If you are into the silver look wait for a Pl-630 or don't mind semi fully automatic, look for PL-530, PL-550, or PL570. With a little luck you might not have to spend too much for them.

Thanks, guys. I was thinking of replacing my Denon DP-45f in my main system and moving that to my wife's office.
