Knight cabs; 15" goodmans triaxials; did i do OK?

well, the new caps arrived from PE. also some new binding posts. installed them and have the drivers running outside the cabs. sound nice!

this album shows my progress:

cleaned up the cabs with howards and 0000 steel wool. looks like i need new grill cloth. tried to clean the dirty cloth and no luck. maybe i'll take the cloth off and wash it; but it may disintegrate... looking at this replacement from PE: http://www.parts-express.com/speaker-grill-cloth-fabric-beige-brown-yard-36-wide--261-810

the cabs are pretty low; need a taller riser or legs. these legs might work: http://www.alphafurnishings.com/Straight-7H-Round-Chrome-Leg.html

and some pictures! the cab with the water (plant, no doubt) stain shows a little darkness still, but not too bad. i had a tough time getting the grill cloth (poly of some kind, not natural fiber) straight and smooth. looks OK from a few feet back.

will run them for a while and see if i can track down a mate for one of the drivers. anyone got one?
