Does anyone have a view on the MC122? I picked one up cheap with the left channel out. Is this slim line amp a true family member and thus worth the money to repair?

I've had a few MC7100s and those are excellent power amps. The MC122 seems to be the next generation of the MC7100. I've never owned one, but I have owned a few hundred Mc amps over the years. I've never owned a Mc amp that didn't warrant fixing.

Thanks Ron! Can you point me to someone who knows of a Mac authorized repair shop in the Fairfield County CT area? Or should I send it to Chuck?

Yea, Audioclassics. That's about as close as you can get - drive there in three hours, or drop it off at Mc yourself.
