found an un-assembled,still new in the box Heathkit Vectorscope with manuals. Is it worth anything? Guy bought it some years ago,and never got around to building it.Everything is still in the original plastic, and boxes.
Put it on Ebay but don't expect much. Nobody fixes televisions any more. Even if all the parts are good, you have all the risk of assembling it yourself and no backup from Heath. Then there are the high voltages... I agree with EastPoint, it is probably optimal to sell it unassembled, as long as it is complete. Good luck.
Any unbuilt Heathkit is valuable. The more "undisturbed" the more valuable. Boxes which haven't had the tape cut since they left the factory are the most prized. It's crazy what some NIB Heathkits will sell for. The vectorscope itself isn't particularly valuable (I got $5.50 for mine on ebay a few years back), so leave it unbuilt and complete.
