slight shock energized shield for selector switch?

Today I hooked up my recently updated fisher 800c and was listening to it. I reached across it to turn up the volume and received a mild shock when I bumped the cover for the channel selector switch. Any idea what might be energizing it? Overall the unit appears to sound and be working great.

Flip the plug in the outlet.

Mike, would the shock be due to the "death" cap leaking?

I just completed installing the metalbone restoration kit so that cap was replaced. Reversing the plug worked tested with my meter and with hand. It was very mild not deadly.
