am antenna clamps 800c

I figured I would make an attempt to contribute. I got these ideal brand insulated clamps at Home Depot from the lighting/electrical aisle yesterday. They are the 1" version and were $1 a piece. I think they work well for this application.

Mike -- they look great, but do make sure that the metal straps do not change the effective peaking of the antenna circuit. The best way to check this is to try the unit with and without the clips in place (preferably at night), with the antenna roughly held in place by a non metallic object when the clips are removed. If there is a notable difference in sensitivity with and without the clips, you may need to touch up the antenna trimmer on the tuning cap.

will do so far I am receiving more AM channels than I ever have with any other system I have owned so I am more than pleased with the performance and the antenna is now off the table and out of the way of getting damaged.

I used a couple nylon hose brackets you can get from any car parts house.
