So the scam is that you contact the seller and they ask you to pay the $3K outside of EBay? That why the BIN option isn't even part of the auction? Freakin' dirtbags.

You got it!

They used to do this with stolen account with very good feedback, I once saw a highjacked account with over 10,000 fraudulent listings.
