I have just received my mx-1000 and so far no issues except for the power switch. Hard to turn on and have to pull back the switch to turn off. Anybody with a similar problem? Thanks

Try to just loosen up the front plate and reposition it. The switch may just be binding on the front plate. Or See if the spring return on the front part of the switch has popped over the plastic catch. The spring return may just need a good cleaning and is full of dust and whatnot.

To remove the front plate do i have to remove the top and bottom plates too? Thanks

I think maybe just the top cover.To gain access to the 3 top screws of the front plate.The bottom front plate screws I believe are accessable without any covers removed.

Shipping might have jarred the covers. Loosened them up and now working. Can't wait for my cx-800 presently under rehab. Thank you
