I trust Terry DeWick's judgement on what it needs and his work. And I am doubly spoiled by being within 50 miles of his workshop. Yes, I'd say it's the best $5 I'd spent. Even though I'll easily have at least $200 in getting it up to specification. And it'll still be a bargain. Any idea where I might find a knob for it? Anyone making repro knobs?

Ahh, THEE man for original Fisher knobs and brights is Don! All around great guy, and resident AK Fisher parts supplier/aficionado extraordinaire.

Will do, Don. Thanks! Saw my doctor today and he was talking audio with me and I mentioned finding the Fisher. He loves old Fishers and was mentioning how much I would enjoy it restored.
