Hi all,
I've just bought a Fisher CA550 from the auction for next to nothing and it came with a CB550 remote control center and a hand held remote.
The amplifier seems to work fine now I have reinstated the pre & power amp external connectors on the back but I haven't got a clue what to do with the CB500. It powers up but stays in standby, I put a battery in the remote and it lights up when buttons are pressed but has no effect on the CB550
The remote centre has RCA inputs and a line out along with 6 7 & 8 pin DIN connectors to connect to a tuner, player & deck but there are no corresponding DIN inputs on the back of the amp. There are a series of power sockets on the back too I assume for connection to other separates along with another chord terminating in a plug labelled 'sub'
Anybody out there know anything about these units? Better still anybody got a user manual I can have a copy of? I have a service manual for the amp but finding anything else has proved fruitless.
I have attached some photos of the rear of the CB550
Any help or information much appreciated, thanks
