I'm going to be starting my first scratch build stereo tube amp around xmas time. I've find it very helpful to study others designs and layout. Could I see your pics of layout and guts?

I have a local tech friend that can guide me and help with measuring etc but I want to get as much done as possible solo...

Well we may as well start out by setting the bar really low.

This is an amp I built about two years ago, it sounds great but it looks like it was built in a Jr. High shop class. The next one is going to be better.


In all seriousness, it was a lot of fun and really rewarding.
Good luck on your project, its your first but I'm willing to bet it wont be your last.

This is a guitar amp I built for a friend, P2P style. Every "wound" component was wound by me in my small lab.
