Don't buy anything fragile from Tiger Direct . . .

Downhome Upstate
The box was big to begin with, the contents were fragile, thin and much smaller than the carton. The packer tossed the items purchased in the bottom of the box and threw a couple of pieces of brown packing paper in on top. You know, the kind that can have some elasticity when twisted and compressed properly?

After traveling down the UPS conveyor belt ahead of a footlocker full of lead, the box arrived resembling an accordian.

Thanks, Tiger Direct!

I've bought laptops, a big screen tv and wifi routers from Tiger and never had a problem. Did you contact them?

Yes, indeed. The shipment in question was not only destroyed, they double billed me for it through paypal, resulting in 2 not yet reimbursed NSF fees (it's a long story). I'll never do business with Tiger again. :nono:
