Thrift store shopping in the Netherlands

I'm on vacation and wanted to get a something set up quickly to play some LPs. Here's what you get at the Kringloop in Heerenveen, the Netherlands. 'Kringloop' is kind of the Dutch version of the Goodwill.

Pioneer SX-400L - (~$13)
Siemens Direct Drive TT (($5)
Celestion Ditton 110 Speakers, not pictured ($10)

Best of Johnny Cash $3
Talking Heads $4
Kate Bush - The Kick Inside ($2) - We just watched the BBC documentary :)

All in all a very good system for very cheap, and best of all, this only took 2 trips over two days, which was great since I don't live here.

A complete phono setup for under $30!?
Very nice. Very clever for you to come up with the idea. :thmbsp:

How long are you on vacation? Nice setup for a temporary rig.

We're only here for a week, but leaving the system in the house we're staying at :) (It's my Dad's place) Trying to see if there's a safe way to take some of the records back though.

Belgium here. We call Kringloop 'Kringwinkel'.
The prices for the gear is similar, records are cheaper here (0.50€ for a single, 1€ for an album).

I'm not sure how to say "score!" in Dutch, but I might have to find out. :)

I was a bit disappointed the records weren't cheaper, but it was a little less picked over than I was used to.
