OH HELL!!! My girlfriend Roxanne back in 1977 had one of those--What a piece of trash--but the sound was fair for a cheap stereo. But seeing it today brings back a lot of sad memories.
Someone right here might know Roxanne's daughter Dawn used to play a lot of records on that.:music:

Lookd like something the SNL "Wild and Crazy Guys" would have in their swinging bachelor pad to cruise with the foxes! ;)
 
oddly enough, I found one at a garage sale this weekend in Calgary ($325) It had no electronics in it, the price was just for the cabinet. Everything was grossly overpriced and I suspect he sold very little.

I'm ashamed to say I kind of like it. Its got a gaudy retro-chic look to it.

I see this stuff coming back one day (doesn't everything, eventually?). Maybe not to the extent that midcentury modern stuff has, but at least having a following.
