I've read this book over and over and it's a must read for certain types. Take it to a new level. I can't say enough. Fantastic read.

'Get Better Sound' by Jim Smith.

Guess I'm obsessive too. Mr. Smith makes some good suggestions that have worked well for me. Just finished relocating my gear from between the speakers, and it did result in a noticeable improvement in sound quality. His speaker placement process can get a bit tedious, but it works and that made the effort worthwhile.

I recently got that same book thru interlibrary loan... a good read. It's a bit more "audiophile" than I wish to be... or to do. But there are some good ideas in the book, and it's an education just reading it.
