New to me KA-6100, and light bulb question?

I just picked up this amp yesterday afternoon. The only thing wrong is the bulb is burned out......fuse is fine. Is there a place to find a replacement? Looks like it's 8v? Is there a brighter LED solution?

Thanks, and here's a pic!

Fellow AK'er dgwojo is the 'go to' person who can hook you up with new bulbs for that. Just send him a PM or visit his website: http://www.dgwojo.com/

He's always come through for me on bulbs, lamps, etc.

Looks like it is a single bulb, 8 volts .3 amps ( or 300 milliamps)

Might I also suggest that you download (free) the Service Manual for it as well as the Owners/User Manual from this place (just sign up): http://www.hifiengine.com/library/kenwood/ka-6100.shtml

Thanks for the info. I contacted him and he has one on the way for me.

Thanks guys! I got the light bulb replaced and it works great. dgwojo send me the bulb with two wire leads soldered on, some solder, and some heat shrink. I wasn't expecting such over the top service, but it sure was welcomed. He's a great guy to deal with, and I highly recommend him.

Oh, by the way, I got the amp for $65.00 off Craigslist. The guy was selling everything he owned and was "going on an adventure"......whatever that means.
