As we all know, Fisher consoles were not cheap so I've tried to "justify" the MSRP of my '61 Executive V. At $1695, here's what you got:

AKG DK88 mic: $ 50.00 (purely guessing)

changer w/ Pickering
V-15 cartridge: $100.00 (approximate as the phono was advertised at
roughly $65, allowing extra for the cartridge.)
TOTAL: $1,009.00
Balance of $686 for the 8 speakers and cabinet. I couldn't find any info on the component prices of the speakers.
The $400 for the tape recorder fits in perfectly as the same console without the Sony was $1295.
