finally got back to work on my 907 left channel bias wont adjust. setting at 70mv when i hook a speaker to it it drops to 32mv and wont adjust down was wondering if someone could give me any ideas it has the orginal outputs

If current rises as such when a load is connected, usually means that current is flowing because of DC offset.

kenwood ka 907

it was playing ok then the left channel started oscillate in appears to be in the low MHz ill check the emitter resistor i post back what i find

if its oscillating that needs addressing .it could well be why the bias is like it is .
what work have you done to it if any?

all new drive transistors on the back driver board and the amp channels were the outputs go in and all new capcitors on those boards

found a cold solder joint on the coil on the power supply for the left and the power supply caps for that channel have leaked so looks like its time for a recap
