Roxul Rockboard 60 vs. Roxul Safe and Sound

Trying to find out differences between the above. ATS Acoustics says Rockboard 60 is 2" thick. Lowes/Home Depot say Safe and Sound is 2 1/2" thick. Aside from thickness, assuming there really is a difference?, are they the same in terms of rigidity? I'd like to be able to lean them against the walls before sizing them for frames. Also, any differences in sound absorption between the two?
Any help/advice greatly appreciated.

I have no experience with the Rockboard, but SafeNSound will barely stand up when you're leaning it against the wall. It kind of slumps over, eventually falling or almost falling over.

Datasheets tell all. Same basic base material, but different form factor/density/absorption coefficients.

Can I ask a question how big is your room are you doing all four wall floor to ceilings if yes are you going from floor to ceiling I have some experience with sound room i'm a commercial carpenter we build big stuff like casinos movie theaters I may be able to help with a design

The rockboard feels more like a giant, thick piece of cardboard. The S&S feels more like a giant slice of bread.

I used both in my basement in the walls and ceiling to help prevent sound transmission.

The Rockboard was harder to cut and fit, but was picked up free.

The S&S is super easy to work with, and was not too expensive.

Glad it is the space, there is a significant reduction in sound on the upper floors, and I am able to enjoy music at realistic (85-90 db's) levels any time of the day. A solid core door at the top of the basement helps a ton too.
