New pricing on AVA UltraValve Amplifiers

AVA was able to get an awesome deal on our latest sheet metal run for the UltraValve amplifiers. We want to pass that savings on to you. We can now offer the UltraValve amplifier for $1599. This is not a sale but a price reduction.

Please note, we have not had a chance to get new pictures posted on our website yet, but the UltraValve faceplate is now anodized silver to match our thick silver faceplate options for our our preamps and DACS.

I may have an interested friend, could KT88 tubes be used in this?

We supply the Ultravalve with a matched quad set of EH big bottle 6CA7 tubes.

It can also use EL34s and KT77s needing only bias setting adjustments.

It is not designed for KT88 tubes which are only useful in a higher powered amplifier.

Because of the multiple regulated power supplies (unique in a vacuum tube power amplifier) changing tube does not have much effect on sonic quality. It sounds great with any unless they are worn out and won't bias.

Yep. That is one nice amp for that kind of price. A bargain doesn't fully do justice to just how nice this sounds for not much money.
