Altec 890c recap question

So thanks to a fellow AKer i know that i will need two caps at 6.0uf 50v and 1 at 30uf 25v but i cant seem to find any Daytons with those values. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Higher voltage is fine.
You can also piggy back them to reach the desired value.

Use 250/400 volt Solens/Daytons is fine.. You can use higher voltage but not lower...

Raru - tell me how you were able to remove the woofer and access the interior.

You could use 2 Carli Mylar caps in parallel to come up with that 30uf value and get one for the 6uf. Or a 5%DF quality NPE for both values. Sometimes going to the Metal Poly caps will significantly reduce ESR.

Havent got there yet but i plan on documenting the process i will let you know how it goes.

Set cabinet with terminal end down. Remove 4 screws holding driven woofer ( closest to the end of the cab with the terminals)
pull woofer out.. crossover is right there.
