In my AMP, the notorious Rifa RFI yesterday burst with a lot of smoke..

i got myself a replacement ordered already, according to that guide http://gigapod.free.fr/Yamaha_A760.html

but when i desoldered it, i came across a diode that is corroded through..

I've googled around for the service manual, but only could find a low quality version with pages missing. i've marked the diode with a blue arrow. i thought it reads D335.

but on the schematics i'm not sure which one it is, there is no 335. maybe its 332..

anyways.. could anyone help me out what voltage and wattage zener i need?

any suggestions where to get said maual? the online service manual i found online is in bad quality with pages missing

The link in my previous post, perhaps?

those have the relevant pages missing. its also where i got those pictures from. but thanks anyways.

i figured it out with the help of a friend. its a 1.4V dropoff zener. fixed now. thanks for keeping my hopes up :D

Huh? I linked to the full manual at Stereomanuals.com.
66 total pages (14 intentionally blank) including (7) 11in x 17in schematic inserts, constructed as the original including 11in x 17in folded /trimmed pullout pages, card stock covers, neatly assembled with 5 staples and fiber reinforced taped spine. The wiring diagram on page 6 of the original manual is difficult to read. So in addition to making normally, we add 200% enlargements that span (4) 11in x 17in inserts. Overall quality is Very Good to Excellent.

Not sure where your friend got that, but he's wrong.
