Further to my first post I now own a P2201. Tried it out at the sellers and brought it home.
I've been intrigued by vintage yamaha for a while but this is my first acquisition.
I hooked it up to my speakers (didn't check the offset :nono: as couldn't wait)
I am seriously impressed considering how cheap they are. The noise floor is so quiet. I've owned an AR VT100 and a MF Nuvista M3 and this thing competes for peanuts.
I opened her up and there is some corrosion / previous melting marks on the power cord at the bottom of the connector block. Is this anything to be worried about?
I now plan on getting a pc2002. Would this be ok to biamp with the p2201?
