Making another upgrade to my humble audio chain tonight by ordering a NovaPre that was on sale at at Audio Advisor for $588. The price sealed the deal as I was torn between that and the Wyred4Sound mPRE. Having never heard the mPRE I was considering their auditioning program, but at almost half the price and having already heard and greatly enjoyed the Peachtree the choice was made.
It will be replacing my recently acquired Maverick D1 which has been a nightmare and not worked correctly from the start (low output off and on from one channel. Working on a fix with their customer support).
Anyways, I'm very excited and felt like sharing. Also for kicks I ordered a PSA XV15SE sub to finish off my home theater. Just moved to my new place in February and it's coming along... Still a work in progress though.
