Hi,
I have two alternatives: Technics SL-2000 and SONY PS-LX 300H. Any body can compare these?

Specs of sony is in the picture format.

Technics' is:

Motor: low speed electronically controlled brushless DC motor

Platter: 30cm aluminium diecast

Speeds: 33.33 and 45rpm

Speed change: electronic change

Pitch control 10% adjustment range

Wow and flutter: 0.045% WRMS

Rumble: -70dB

Tonearm: Universal S-shaped tubular arm

Effective length: 220mm

Overhang: 14mm
Weight: 12 kg

If I were you I would go with Technics since it is heavier that a Sony (12 kg versus 7) and have slightly better specs.

It's interesting that a turntable named Sony PSLX300USB is on sale on ebay now and yes, it's USB. It looks differently from the PS-LX 300N that you are considering HOWEVER to have a USB relative is a bad sign.
