Ok to use MX113 tape input

Is it Ok to use MX113 tape input for a phono stage? Any drawbacks for tying in a third table?

Without a external phono stage with RIAA equalization there will be very little to no volume. Otherwise it is just like a aux input.

Thanks, should probably have read tying in a third table to the tape input via a phono stage which is what I'm doing.

Yes, I believe the tape and aux inputs have the same specs.
