She's a beauty and has been boxed up for 25 yrs, bought her last week. Time capsule piece.........soon to join my KA-9100 & KT 8300......


Should she be brought to life on a Variac (don't have one) or is it safe to plug her in?

I would try it without variac, nice piece BTW .

As long as there aren't any dead bugs in there to short anything you should be good to try it out.
I see you have SDA-1A's, I have a pair too!

Yes Jimreeves, I'm a Polk lover for sure. The SDA's are in amazing original condition as well as the Monitor 10's......nice to see you're close by.

The KD-5066 is a great looking table. Had one briefly but the tonearm controls went wonky so I traded to a local AKer who is handy with repairs. Glad yours works . . . enjoy!
