Omelette au Fromage
Today is the birthday of Michael Faraday (1791-1867), whose discoveries in the field of electromagnetic induction led to the development of motors, transformers and inductors. The unit of capacitance (Farad) was of course named for Faraday. I dare say that without his numerous important discoveries, audio would be severely lacking. :thmbsp:

He was also active in the field of chemistry, and among other achievements, he isolated benzene (although it was Kekule' who later discovered its aromatic ring structure, IIRC).

Happy Birthday Mr. Faraday. I am glad we have the 'capacity' to celebrate it.

I like remembering/celebrating those before us on birthdays. So well done posting this today.

I don't understand the celebrating on the deceased expiration date. Just seems odd to celebrate when someone died.

I did my Cap work for the day. Hope Michael is happy.
