Is it just me or are T-70 tuners not sensitive?

I've owned my T-70 since I bought it new in the early 80's. I seem to remember it being more impressive with regards to sensitivity. Of course I've moved since then and I hadn't used it in 20 years, but my CR-440 gets better reception.
Any other owners with similar experiences?

I'm using my trusty RS 10ft combo UHF/VHF/FM antenna, so it's not a small dipole. It may just be that the terrain isn't conducive to good reception in my area, oh well.

There is a noticable difference between my T-70 and my T-80, which isn't to say the T-70 is bad. Maybe the T-80 and the CR-440 are just that good.

Well, the T-80 wasn't available in 1982 when I bought the T-70 :)

I'll have to keep an eye out for a good used one.
I do like the looks of the analog T-1 though.

I've had my T-70 since new in 83 and I remember picking up Dallas TX stations 180 miles away back in the mid 80's. I would imagine the sensitivity would be brought back by a proper alignment. I still have my T-70 but it's relegated to the storage bin. I rotate it out every few months but it's awaiting a much needed alignment.
