Adding subwoofers to a 2-way system can be an exhillarating experience when integrated properly. Come see/hear the Audio-Video Club of Atlanta's free build clinic and unveling Sunday, 9-22-13.
The free tutorial begins at 12:30pm. Our regular meeting begins at 2:00pm when we unveil the subwoofers fully integrated with the club's DIY 2-ways. Club members Tommy Joe Anderson and Don Smith will demonstrate with test recordings designed to put the subs through a rigorous test measuring how low can they go.
Anderson will demo classical music he's professionally made. Then Smith will feature various jazz bassists covering classical to contemporry over several decades. He'll be looking to see how well the subs reproduce life-like electric and upright bass notes.
