Damn everyone spun a lot of vinyl today.

I am stuck this holiday doing a remodeling project, which will probably take the whole weekend. Kind of cool here last night and tonight, in the low 50's at night and mid 70's during the day.

I am going to give this a spin see what it sounds like.

Opeth ‎– Pale Communion (Roadrunner 2014)

Dropped by a branch of Rasputin on the way home from work to check our RSD releases. There was nothing of real interest but did grab this instead. I'd head a digital copy and it's much more proggy than earlier stuff I've heard of theirs and therefore more my 'cup of tea'. Also gottta love an album with a track named after the band Goblin!

nice. I can remember bringing this home at age ~17 as a new release LP (US) and being astonished by album and the sound quality. Multiple repeat listens.

The Move ~ Split Ends (1972, United Artists)

Roy Wood ~ Boulders (1973, United Artists)

There ya go again, Celt:) Couple of neat spins for 4 in the afternoon:)

I need to score a nicer copy of "Split Ends"...my original's been played to death. "Chinatown" should've been a hit single...a jaunty little tune full of Jeff/Roy goodness. A all-time fave.
