P2200 / P2201 level control issues

My P2200 has an issue with it's left level control. The left speaker intermittently cuts out any time I adjust the dial.

Right now I can usually just work the dial back and forth a few times and it will quit cutting out, but it's getting annoying.

Anyone fix this before? Is this something Deoxit would fix or is this likely a more serious problem?

I had the same problem on my 2150. I got lucky as a squirt of deoxit and exercising the dial fixed it.

Sounds like a Deoxit treatment will be the cure.
