Which Pioneer Speakers???

I am new to this forum but have read all the listed comments about speakers and Amps on it.
I would like to match a good set of Pioneer speakers to my Pioneer System, which consists of the following: Pioneer SA-9100, Pioneer TX-9100, Pioneer PL-570, Pioneer CT-F9191, Pioneer SG-9500, Pioneer DT 500 & Akia-Crossfield M-8.
My SA-9100 Amp is rated at 8 Ohms RMS Per Channel - 60W. I am listening trough a set of 100W Onkyo's at present, and they seem Ok but would like a sett of Pioneer's.
I am looking at the Pioneer CS 99A (100W) & the HPM-100 (100W or 200W) speakers.
My concern is will a pair of CS 99A or HPM-100 rated at 100W be a good match for this Amp? Also would the HPM-100 200W speakers be too much for this Amp?
I was also thinking of running the HPM-100 on my A main terminals with the CS 99A on the B terminals.
I am interested in everyone’s opinion, if you think there are better speakers for this Amp, lets hear it - put your 2 cents in too.

There are always better speakers.....
HPM 100's beat the CS 99A for clarity and overall sound.
The 99A's may give you more of the vintage rock style and sound.
Depends on the sound you are looking for.

I have both. I've tried mixing them. It didn't work for me. Use them by themselves. The style of the two speakers are too different to sound good together. The 99A's are very efficient and will get loud with your amp. The HPM not so much. Still, they would get loud enough for most. Expect to pay a lot of money for good examples of either. Most haven't aged well and will need a lot of work to bring them back.

If you can find a pristine pair of HPM-900 for a good price, you might be more satisfied.

pioneer speakers-- hpm's of course. don't get anything else. but there is one better pioneer speaker and its big bucks, can't remember the model number thou. you'll do fine with the 100's and the sa 9100.

Hpm 100 /100W
Hpm 100/200W, I own..

Pretty much the same thing, brite speakers.
I think your amp.should power them fine.

Make up your mind what year of catalog are you actually collecting.
9100 series is from
1973 T 1975 V SA-9100 ¥ Integrated, Stereo 60w
therefore

I see
1970 Q 1975 V CS-99 215 $ Speaker System 80w
1972 S 1980 A CS-99A 250 $ Speaker System 100w

1975 V 1978 Y HPM-100 (1975) R 300 $ High Polymer Molecular 100w
1978 Y 1980 A HPM-100 (1978) R HPM-110 390 $ High Polymer Molecular 200w aka HPM-100/u1

I've had both speakers and both are lovely

Cs-r700

Rarer and hard to find, but a pair of CS-R700s would be a good match.

As stated earlier, the HPM-100s are a later vintage.

That SA-9100 / TX-9100 combo is a winner!

Probably one of the best integrated amps that Pioneer ever made!

i picked up a pair of the csr 700s a while back and only did the briefest of testing vs the hpm 100's. go with the hpm's unless you find the csr 700's for a too good to pass up price. can't comment on them vs the cs 99's.

disclaimer: that testing period was less than 10 min and i'm saving them (the 700's) for a tube system i'm putting together.
