I found a Kenwood KR-4010 when perusing the GW. For $10 I had to pick it up. It is in beautiful shape but lo and behold I got it home and the left channel is dead. Dead through the speakers, and headphones and on all inputs - FM, AM, AUX, etc.
I plan on inspecting it closely for any cold solder joints or bad looking caps.
Any suggestion on where to start looking? Power supply? Pre-amp?
I am not an electrician but can do some soldering, I just don't have the knowledge to properly troubleshoot it. It isn't worth the $$ to take it to a professional so either I figure it out or it goes back to the GW for someone else to poke around in.
Thanks for any suggestions on where to start.
