$2500 seemed very high to me.....out of my price range.

Those do look like they are in awesome condition for sure. Very nice.
It looks like his gear is in great condition and well taken care of but as GTIanz said, a bit out of my price range 'specially around the holidays. (or any days for that matter).

I'm sorry if i muddled up the infinity forums. I was just very surprised to find so many great infinity's available somewhat locally.

There is also a set of rs 2.5's listed for $1600 close by.

(All Seattle..... Why cant any of these be in Portland?)

So many excellent speakers. It's really hard to control myself. But, i have $1000 invested in the polk 3.1's that I'm playing with right now that i can't justify picking up another huge set of speakers.

Really think i prefer the sound of the old infinity's. Hope i someday can find deals like these when I'm ready.

On the polk forums there is a thread for "rare" vintage polk's. A similar thread here in this forum for the amazing vintage infinity's would make a lot of sense.

Just a thought.

If you want the vintage Infinity sound, I would offer this pair, if truly in great shape - needing no further work, is not that badly priced. They not getting younger and are not that easy to find. But if you are handy, you certainly can find them for less but you must be able to repair things.

IMHO, Rs 2-b's @ $2500 are not too far off the right price. I have owned some...they are great speakers. They make music!

Make sure and get the equalizer.:music:
