I'm off to a rockin' blues start with Chris Duarte's "Texas Sugar Strat Magik". Close your eyes at times and you'd swear it was Stevie Ray Vaughan.

After that, I'm thinking it might be a Delbert McClinton morning.

I gots my blues, my Panera's coffee. It's just a $^&$ shame work has to get in the way.

Was spinning some Luscious Jackson - Natural Ingredients, chills the brain when I get home from work....ahhhhh.

Loading up some Eva Cassidy next.

Sun is shining, my son is behaving beautifully. Great morning for tunes

Well now I've got Big Brother and The Holding Co. Live at Winterland 1968. I love this disk! All the guitar distortion and
feedback. Got her cranked, getting into Summertime now. I love
the whole SF Haight Ashbury sound, think next will be one of
my rare Quicksilvers'. Oh, Yeah!

Carl

Sure was a great place to go see a show too.

Drove to work listening to my new Los Lobos compilation. Man the ugly, rainy commute just flew by as I was lost in the tunes.

Now I'm previewing my 2003 Christmas Compilation. It's just something I do for fun, and pass them out to my co-workers instead of a Christmas Card. It is almost finished. I recorded it to a cd/rw until I finalize it. Here's the tentative line-up:

Holiday Sampler 2K3

1 Christmas Time Is Here (Vince Guaraldi Trio)
2 Little Drummer Boy - Extended Version (Bing Crosby & David Bowie)
3 There's No Place Like Home For The Holidays (Leon Redbone)
4 Linus And Lucy (Vince Guaraldi Trio)
5 Frosty The Snowman (Leon Redbone & Dr. John)
6 This Christmas (Harry Connick, Jr. & Branford Marsalis)
7 White Christmas (Tony Bennett & Dexter Gordon)
8 Toyland (Leon Redbone)
9 Parade Of The Wooden Soldiers (Harry Connick Jr.)
10 Happy Christmas [the war is over] (Jimmy Buffet)
11 Christmas Is Coming (Vince Guaraldi Trio)
12 Grown Up Christmas List (Dionne Warwick)
13 Winter Wonderland (Mannheim Steamroller)
14 Blue Christmas (Grover Washington, Jr.)
15 Go Tell It On The Mountain (Kirk Whalum)
16 Light of the Stable (Emmylou Harris)
17 That Old Christmas Moon (Leon Redbone)
18 Christmas Island (Jimmy Buffet)
19 Greensleeves (Vince Guaraldi Trio)
20 Wonderful Christmastime (Paul McCartney)
21 Auld Lang Syne (Mannheim Steamroller)
22 Twas The Night Before Christmas (Art Carney)
23 Ho Ho Ho And A Bottle Of Rhum (Jimmy Buffet)

After lunch, I'll probably listen to some Lyle Lovett The Road To Ensanada. What you spinning this fine day (besides your head Dave918)?
