I had been looking forward to the arrival of this tape player/clock radio.

Singlewall cardboard. Those foam blocks are like bricks.

Is there any saving this set or should I just throw it on the s***heap now?

EDIT: It is somewhat ironic that this seller's name starts with "BamBam".

Do I dare ask what you were dinged for shipping and handling?
Even the entire crumpled up sports section of Sunday's newspaper would have done a better padding job than that... :yes:
