very nice, looks like my room. keep up the good work. what does your wife say about all that?

Whoa, that's pretty intense! If I put the bits I have all together in one room my wife would kill me! The secret for me is "divide and conquer"; if I keep things far enough apart she doesn't feel quite as oppressed...

Lots of good stuff you have!

Looks a lot like the former "Cable Cave" of several years ago....
I have slimmed down quite a bit since then....I love the sagging metro rack, used to have one of those as well.
Cool beans man....:thmbsp:

Great pics, like all of your speakers. Must sound good too. I connected three of my recievers the other day to different speaker sets and put them all on Rock 104.1 the Hawk and rocked my son out for a while. Nice Collection.

This is my room, (spare upstairs bedroom) so she doesn't have much to say about it. She's just glad I got it all out of the downstairs hallway! :yippy:

I've got the same rack... much emptier than yours...

Just curious, do you have a default system there somewhere?

There's more of these?!??!

I just passed up a pair of these a couple of weeks ago--they looked to be among the ugliest things I've ever seen!

You ever hooked it up to hear it? Between the thick fabric and the faux Spanish metal work, I'd be amazed if any sound came out.

Chillwolf,

I see that you have Coral BX-201. Can you please tell me what kind of drivers are inside and what you think of the sound. I see a pair locally and may buy them if they are worth the investments. Thanks.

Beautiful but I don't see enough Sansui gear.

I love it when you guys post pictures like this. I show my wife and say see honey, I'm not crazy and I don't have that much gear compared to a lot of people. :D

I'm just now noticing the criterions. I bought four of them once thinking they looked sweet. The yellow tweeters look neat. I didn't like the sound much, the cabs brought way too much attention to themselves.

That's the same technique I try to use... except she then responds "true, but you have to have something that's twice as loud as most people would ever want" :thumbsdn:

hhhmm.. Now I just need a few more people with some insane db cranking systems to post pictures so I can say "See.. others are crazier than me"

Thanks guys, for taking the time to look and comment!

Looks like you got the fever bad.Real bad.

Yep, that's what my wife said! She said what are you going to do with all that stuff? I said, I'm collecting it! She collects depression glass, coins and porcelin dolls. I just collect audio gear and cameras. :sigh:

Very nice set up, chillwolf! I have a similar mancave in a finished basement..........best thing I ever did. Now (as I'm sure yhou are aware), the wife has no complaints about gear that comes in. Enjoy! :D
