I'm trying to set up a distributed audio system with a set of stereo speakers in each room of my home.
I just purchase a Knoll MA1250 12 Channel Amp. The unit can be turned on via the power switch on the front of the unit or via a 12 volt DC 35ma trigger.
I also purchased a Nuvo Simplease NV-A4D 8 channel amp. The Nuvo has keypads, and a remote control. It has a trigger that sends 5 volt DC 50ma when it turns on.
5v is not enough to turn on my Knoll that requires a constant 12v. How can I make this work? Is a 12v power supply available that I can turn on with a 5v trigger? Can I make something with a relay? Any ideas?
