It's raining speakers again....Anyone know much about these? Doesn't seem to be much here about them. Seller says they're 3 way's and old,big KLH's would seem to be desirable. Gonna pony up $60 for them.....:scratch2:

Guess HomerJSimpson will have some of my speakers to audition for a little while. My wife is giving me grief about my Model 19's blocking the hearth in the family room where the Christmas decorations are supposed to go....:sigh: Gonna have to move them for awhile....

Dood, you're a speaker magnet, and i don't mean the kind a voice coil rides in.:D

............. and you certainly have a nice start should you ever to decide to collect speakers as part of your hobby................... LOL.

You should really think about getting some of the BIGGER models.:yes:

....haven't heard back from the dude with the $200 Infinity RSIIIb's, other than someone else was in front of me...Oh well, you win some, you lose some...

I'm thinking it's time to liberate some of my smaller speakers..Pair of A-25's anyone?....:D (Just kidding....)
 
sevens are cool . .

same woofer as the model 6, and same tweeter, only the seven uses a pair in each cabinet . . enclosure volume is larger, so bass extension is better, albeit at the cost of power handling. I bottomed out my Seven's ONCE and have been veeeeeeeery careful since. impossible to get inside the cabinet without a circular saw - not to mention the woofer frame is PART OF the enclosure . ..

GRAB 'EM ! ( if the tweeters are good . . . :D )
 
Suppose I owe some pix on these....

Anyone have any ideas on how to try and clean up the grillcloth? These sound quite nice, but don't seem to be as efficient as the other garage speakers. I may have to take them inside and try them on some toobs....

actually. . . as KLH grilles go, those are pretty clean . . .

I've never bothered to clean any of mine, but some say a little oxy-clean works - the guys over at classic speaker pages / KLH would probably have lots of good methods . . .

and watch the volume on them Seven's - same woofer as the Six, but bigger internal volume, so it'll go a tad lower, but handles less power . .

I had the loudness button on by mistake last time mine were upstairs and I practically dove across the room to turn down the volume when I heard a woofer bottom out :yikes:

what serial numbers are yours ? they must be pretty early if the tweeters (crossover caps) are functional . . .
